Elastic Headband

Surprisingly I have no close up pictures of the elastic headband.  I guess that’s because it’s so common in our house we don’t even think of it as a any more the normal.  The headband is also a favourite.  It takes much less time to put in then the full head elastic ponytail and also stays in 2-3 weeks only requiring a quick brush of the back hairs each morning.  The back hairs can be brought up into a ponytail, messy bun or curled to dress it up even more, but usually it looks elegant all on it’s own.

Our Favourite–Elastic PonyTail

This is the summer hairdo in our house.  It usually lasts about 3-4 weeks and is great for swimming and summer laziness :)

Chain Link Headband

You need fairly long hair for this one to work .. or you’d have pretty small chain links

The biggest trick to this one is making sure it’s good and wet.  As usual I found this one on Princess Hairstyles called a Chain Link Headband.
